Agents are moving out of the demo and into the job. We want to see them doing real work — handling the tedious, the multi-step, the things nobody wants to do twice. Make something people want.

ApplyQuestions
- Who can take part?
- Anyone building with agents — engineers, designers, researchers, and founders. You do not need to be affiliated with a company or university. Places are limited to 100–120 people and every registration is reviewed, so request a spot early.
- Do I need a team before I arrive?
- No. Teams are 1–5 people and form on the Saturday afternoon, right after doors open at 12:00. Plenty of people arrive alone and leave with a team; come with an idea or come to join someone else's.
- What does it cost?
- Nothing. Attendance is free for accepted participants, and that includes food and drink across the 36 hours. You bring your own laptop and whatever hardware your project needs.
- What should I build?
- Something where an agent does real work end to end — the tedious, multi-step jobs nobody wants to do twice. Challenges are revealed at 19:00 on the Saturday, and projects are judged on usefulness, craft, and aura points rather than polish alone.
- Can I start before the event?
- Come with ideas, tooling, and boilerplate ready, but the build itself starts at 20:00 on Saturday. Judges weigh what was made during the build window, so a project that was substantially finished beforehand will not fare well.
- What happens to the finalists?
- Finalists are announced at 21:00 on the Sunday and pitch on the GenAI Summit stage at SNFCC on Monday 16 November, in front of the conference audience and the Summit speaker list.
