Terms & Conditions
Last updated 26 October 2026
These terms apply to the Gen AI Summit Hackathon (“the event”), held in Athens on 14–15 November 2026 with finals at the GenAI Summit at SNFCC on 16 November 2026, to this website, and to the profiles and accounts we provide. By applying or taking part you agree to them. Questions: abedhamami42@gmail.com.
1. Applying and eligibility
- You apply through Luma. Every application is reviewed and places are limited, so applying does not guarantee a place.
- You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate information.
- Places are personal and cannot be transferred or sold.
- Attendance is free. You bring your own laptop and any hardware you need.
2. Profiles and accounts
Everyone who applies gets a profile and an account to use as an engineering portfolio. We create it from your application, and it can include your name, role, skills, links, team, projects and results.
- You are responsible for what you add to your profile and for keeping your login secure.
- Only add content you have the right to share. No unlawful, misleading, offensive or infringing material, and no impersonating anyone.
- Profiles may be public. You can edit, hide, or delete yours, or ask us to, at any time.
- We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms or the code of conduct.
- The service is provided free and “as is”. We may change or end it, and will give notice and a way to export your content before closing it.
How we handle the data behind your profile is set out in the Privacy Policy.
3. The build
- Teams are 1–5 people.
- Bring ideas, tools and boilerplate, but the build starts at 20:00 on Saturday 14 November. Projects substantially built before then may be disqualified.
- You may use open-source code, public APIs and partner tools, following their licences and terms. Credit what you did not build.
4. Your work
You own what you build. By submitting a project you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to show its name, description, screenshots, demo and video, and your team’s names, on this site, on your profiles, and in event and promotional material. You confirm you have the right to submit it.
5. Judging and prizes
- Projects are judged on usefulness, craft and aura points. The judges’ decisions are final.
- Prizes, credits and finalist slots are as announced and may be provided by partners under their own terms. Prizes cannot be exchanged, and winners are responsible for any taxes.
- We may need ID or payment details from winners to deliver a prize.
6. Conduct
Be respectful. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour of any kind is not tolerated, online or in person. Look after the venue and equipment. We may remove anyone who breaks these rules from the event, its results, and the profile service.
7. Photos and recording
The event, including the finals, will be photographed and filmed. By attending you agree that we may use images and recordings in which you appear to report on and promote the event. If you would rather not appear, tell a member of the team on the day.
8. Liability
You take part at your own risk and are responsible for your belongings. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss, damage or indirect losses arising from the event, this site, or the profile service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes and cancellation
We may change the schedule, venue, format, prizes or these terms, or cancel the event if we have to. We will tell participants as early as we can.
10. Law
These terms are governed by Greek law, and the courts of Athens have jurisdiction.
